Not sure of the year, but the full-face helmet and the "sort of" cage on Wilson's car says early '70's.  Anybody know these guys?  Whoever was in Chet Wilson's car was fast...like Harold Leep, Sr, but I don't think this is him. Meanwhi

Since I wasn't here for the coupes and sedans, I guess these will always be my favorite class of cars.  A couple of shots from the mid '90's.

Someone mentioned on the forum that they'd built models of the SFS cars.  Anybody recognize themselves (or their father) from this 1965 group?  By the way, someone's mother may be in there, too.....that's my kind of girl....at the time, anyway.<

Some really, really good ones from 1966.  Harold Leep on the far right, Buddy Cagle in the background (how rare is THAT?) and Benny "Wahoo" Taylor getting what looks like a fid (look it up) from the nice lady.  Maybe SFS could use a few

With the track less than 30 feet wide, single car wrecks were pretty rare.....and going into the infield got you DQ'd.

Taft Stadium, about 1965.  No ID's on these except CJ Ruckman upside down in the Cox 33....looks like somebody in the stands got hit with something, too....
