FVP Hard Knox Night -- Who Will Transfer to the Finale?

One Last Chance to Lock-In to the Big Show
Tonight is the last chance for drivers to lock-in to Saturday's NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's!
 
It's FVP Hard Knox Night, featuring all teams who are 27th or higher in points following both qualifying nights. The top-four finishers in tonight's FVP A-Main will transfer to positions 21-24 in tomorrow night's finale.
 
Hot laps for tonight's races begin at 7:15pm. Tickets are still available at the ticket office, online or by calling 641-842-5431.
 
Remember, 2020 paper tickets will NOT be accepted at the gates. You must have 2021 tickets printed or have a digital ticket on your phone.
 
Brian Brown Wins; Gio Scelzi Earns the SprintCarUnlimited.com Pole Award
Four-time Knoxville Raceway track champion Brian Brown earned the Wolfe Eye Clinic Qualifying Night victory on Thursday, leading all but one lap of the 25-lap event.
 
Kyle Larson, who started 21st, finished second, followed by Brent Marks, Brad Sweet and Rico Abreu.
 
Gio Scelzi held onto the top-points spot, however, to claim the SprintCarUnlimited.com Pole Award for tomorrow night's NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's finale. The 19-year-old is the youngest pole sitter in Knoxville Nationals history.
 
The top-16 drivers in points are locked-in to Saturday's top-eight starting rows in the Knoxville Nationals finale. Drivers 17th-26th in points will start in positions one through 10 in tomorrow's B-Main. All other drivers will compete in tonight's FVP "Hard Knox" Preliminary Night action.

Here's everything going on at the Sprint Car Capital of the World today:
 
11am - Steve King Foundation Cornhole Tournament in the Main Show Barn
 
3pm - Great Southern Bank Kid Zone opens on the Turn 4 end of the Avenue of Champions. Today's guest drivers: Tyler Courtney, Tim Kaeding and Gio Scelzi. Free face painting will be available in the Kid Zone from 3-6pm. Also, Great Southern Bank is accepting school supply donations in the Kid Zone for the Knoxville Community School District.
 
4pm - Locked-In Drivers Autograph Session in the Main Show Barn. (Kyle Larson will not be in attendance due to NASCAR commitments in Indianapolis.)
 
4:10pm - Beers, Friends and 410s "Tweet Up" at the Iowa Beer Bus located next to the Hercules Tires Entertainment Stage

Get Your Running Shoes Ready
The third Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Foundation 4.10 Dash will be held on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway!
 
The Kids Fun Run - one lap around Knoxville Raceway - will begin at 8:45am at the Turn 4 crossover gate. The 4.10 (mile) Dash will begin at 9am with a lap around the track and a run through Knoxville to Peace Tree Brewing Company!
 
If you haven't registered for the run yet, you still can! Come to check-in from 4-6pm tonight just behind the ticket office or before 8:30am Saturday at the Turn 4 crossover gate. Cost is $40 for 4.10 dash runners and $10 for the Kids Fun Run. (T-shirts are not guaranteed for late registrations.)
 
Annual Knoxville Nationals Parade TOMORROW
Don't miss one of our longest-standing traditions: the annual Knoxville Nationals parade in downtown Knoxville.
 
The parade begins at 11am Saturday and features Grand Marshall Jac Haudenschild, Race Fans of the Year Alan and Vicki Dehaai, defending champion David Gravel, front-row starters Gio Scelzi and Brad Sweet and more!
 
Join your fellow race fans downtown for the parade and sales and specials from downtown vendors!
 
NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's Drivers Meeting - OPEN TO FANS
Fans are invited to join the locked-in 16 drivers, Knoxville Raceway officials, and dignitaries for the annual NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's official drivers meeting on Saturday at 3pm in the Main Show Barn.
 
All drivers are introduced and receive their A-Main starting gift before Race Director John McCoy goes over the rules and schedule of events for the night's grand finale.
 
The Main Show Barn will have seating available for fans.
 
Saturday: We Celebrate Our Past Champions
Tune-in to DIRTVision on Saturday at 1pm for a live show honoring our past champions!
 
Eleven Knoxville Nationals champions will join hosts Tony Bokhoven and Johnny Gibson on stage to talk about winning sprint car racing's biggest event, how the race has changed over the years, and what their thoughts are on the event now.
 
Champions on the show include: Steve Kinser, Donny Schatz, Danny Lasoski, Ron Shuman, Sammy Swindell, Bobby Allen, Kraig Kinser, Tim Shaffer, Brad Sweet, David Gravel and Jason Johnson's wife Bobbi Johnson.
 
New in 2021: Champion's Toast with the Fans!
We're starting a new tradition with the 60th NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's: A Champion's Toast with the fans!
 
Following Saturday's Victory Lane celebration, the 2021 Knoxville Nationals champion will walk across the track and meet fans in the concrete area in front of Dyer-Hudson Hall. Once there, the champion will give a victory speech and raise a toast to cheers with the fans! Make sure you have a drink in hand following the races and join us for the first-ever Champion's Toast!
