The King Of America III featuring the USMTS mods scheduled for this week(end) has been cancelled due to scheduled incliment wether. Keep posted here and on for a rescheduled date.  The track will make a decision on Friday whether or not to schedule a weekly points race at the speedway. Jeremy Payne won the tracks season opener this past Saturday night in the tracks modified division.

After a successful opening night this past Saturday night, both Elk City Speedway and Southern Oklahoma Speedway will be back in action this coming Saturday night. Results from both tracks are posted on the message board of this website. Over 100 cars filled the pit area at both venues.

Kip Hughes and Tim Gardner talked to Steve Barnes today (Monday, March 18th) and Steve told THEM that the meeting in front of the Fairboard is going to be this Wednesday after noon at 5:30 to see what is going to happen for this race season at Enid Speedway


In case you missed it, Wayne Johnson is no longer competing for the Lucas Oil ASCS National tour title as he has a sponsorship deal for at least 50 WoO sprint car races this season. He is out in California with the WoO as we speak and I don't think he has missed an "A" feature yet.


Michael Jackson and this Thriller Productions has photos and videos of this past Saturday nights ASCS Lone Star season opener at Kennedale Speedway Park. Don't forget the Matt Clevenger and 40th annual Devils Bowl Spring Nationals kicks off this coming Friday and Saturday night featuring the Lucas Oil ASCS national tour. Check out for more race information as well as support divisions both nights.



As of Monday, March 18th there are thirty-four modifieds and eighteen sport mods pre entered for the huge $5000 to win NCRA modified show and $2000 NCRA sport mod show at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas scheduled for Friday and Saturday night, April 5-6th.

Remember it is not too late to pre-enter for this huge two day weekend opener for both divisions where USRA rules will be allowed with the NCRA rules on the modifieds and northern sport mod rules are allowed with the southern sport mod. However, no mixing or matching of those rules will be allowed.

To pre-enter and find out all the information you need to know, go to the NCRA official website You can also call (316) 755-1781 to pre enter over the phone as well. Also go to the website to see who all is entered for this inaugural event.


There will be an open practice session for all 360 sprint car drivers only on Friday night, March 29th at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas in preparation for the March 30th, $5000 to win NCRA sprint car season opener at the track. Also on Thursday night, April 4th at 81 Speedway there will be an open practice session for modifieds and sport mods only in preparation for the above mentioned $5000 to win NCRA modified season opener and $2000 to win NCRA sport mod season opener.


The "little man from Happy, Texas" the 'Rocket' Rodney Sanders picked up the USMTS victory Friday night at RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas. It was Rodney's eighth victory in fifteen starts. He also finsihed second both Friday and Sunday night at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, Lousiana and Boothill Speedway respectively.

Rodney is utliizing a new M&B chassis developed by late model stars Jimmy Mars and Brian Birkhoffer.
