For the third year in a row, the MARS DIRTcar late model series will be making their appearnce at Brill Motor Speedway in Meeker on Friday night but what is different this year is the NCRA DIRTcar series will not be with them. Please do as we race people do for our racing family. Click here http://www.oklahomasportspark.com/danker.html for more information on this benefit race and please make plans to attend.
Speaking of the afore mentioned Outlaw Motor Speedway, the track is once again under new ownership as Lynn Skinner is now owner of the track with Eric Shannon still under the controls. There is word of pending race information which am told will be released soon. Speculation (and only that) is the track will be moving to Saturday nights as not to compete against Thunderbird Speedway. Again only speculation at this point and time.
Haven't been to the big half mile at Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee yet? Well if you haven't this 2011 season then you will get in "free" to race. Also there will be an added $25 to the highest finishing modified and super stock who is there for the first time.
